FAQ's

How much do we have to pay out each month in CARE in order to QUALIFY?

bullet

It depends. This is where our experience in submitting thousands of approved applications really pays off. In dealing with the VA you really only have one chance to get it right the first time. In most cases the FULL benefit is only available if all of the income from all sources is being spent. BUT again it depends on whether the income is from a pension or perhaps from an IRA or other retirement account. So its always best for us to work together and make sure everything is done right.

I have been told that my father has to much money to qualify, is that true?

bullet

Usually this is not true. There is NO asset amount no matter what you have been told. If the family is spending $3000.00 or $4000.00 per month on care, one asset amount would qualify. But if the family is only paying $650.00 per month on care a very different asset level would be necessary. Regardless there are many solutions that both the VA and the IRS would approve of in order to apply, so once again its always best to call or stop by.

My mother is living in her home with Home Health Care coming in 5 days a week, can she qualify?

bullet

Yes. It is very common for us to assist in approvals for Home Health Care, but the package must be constructed somewhat differently in order to receive an approval, if this is the case.
